Athena is an Irish Sporthorse from Ireland.
She is a superb example of the breed.
She did her fair share of winning at the three and a half foot jumping level before we bought her. She showed under the name Shelby.
She retired early with us to be our "daughter's" project horse, but we have moved from Texas to Kentucky and Chelsea is headed to college next month and will not be able to use her as much as she deserves.
She is offered here as an experienced riding and jumping mare, but she has been at pasture for over a year and will need brushing up to return to top form.
Athena is 15.3 hands and in superb condition including tough barefoot hooves.
She has been running with our Dutch imported Friesian stallion.
We don't believe that you will find a horse of this caliber for this price anywhere in the world. With the right rider, she will really shine once again!

Over the years, Darcy has consistently produced superb quality stock that have excelled as Showjumpers, Eventers, Hunters, Show Cobs, Working Hunters and Dressage Horses.
He passes on his superb movement and termperament, plus quality and bone. His stock are much sought after by the Mounted Police.
Darcy was the sire of the Champion Broodmare and Supreme Show Champion at the IDSH(GB) Annual Breed Show in both 1999 and 2000.
